Carolyn comes to The New Decision Management Associates from the not-for-profit sector with expertise in corporate management and fund development.
A graduate of Middle Georgia College, Carolyn holds an A.A. in Education. She is a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. She has served as Chief Development Director for Girl Scouts of Middle Georgia, Inc., Georgia Children's Museum and as Volunteer & Fund Development Manager for the Southeast Georgia Region of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama, Inc.
Having volunteered on the local level as Board Chair of Girl Scouts of Middle Georgia, she is now a National Operational Volunteer with Girl Scouts of the USA with expertise in Corporate Management, Council Performance Assessment, Facilitation and Mediation.
Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish Foundation of GA & AL, Macon Region and Citizen's Panel Review Board, Bibb County Juvenile Court.

Learn the skills needed to facilitate the management of various types of conflict in a fun, energizing environment. Real-plays give students realistic hands-on experience. This course is a comprehensive overview of appropriate dispute resolution processes. General Civil Mediation Training is the foundational course for all advanced mediation trainings. Topics include: Diversity, Ethics, Generating & Exploring Options, Negotiation Skills, Professionalism, Role and Responsibility of the Mediator, Advanced Communication Skills including Listening Skills & Re-framing.|

|General Civil Mediation Training is a pre-requisite for GA ODR Registration} Understand basic domestic law in Georgia including most recent child support guidelines and enforcement, Georgia Supreme Court ADR rules and the financial and tax implications of divorce. Topics include: Domestic Violence, Parenting Plans, and Communication Skills.|
|Specialized Domestic Violence Training for Mediators|

|A two-day course designed to enlighten one on what domestic violence is, how it affects the victim, and resources to prevent, limit and deal with domestic violence situations. Cost: $525* * CLE/CEs available. Additional fees may apply.|
