| A sad reality is that 50% of
divorces in the United States result, in part, from domestic
violence. As mediators, we must prepare ourselves to handle such
cases when they are referred to mediation.
In the two day DMA Domestic Violence Mediation
Training, you will explore the dynamics of domestic violence and how
it affects the mediation process. You will learn how to screen for
domestic violence, use specialized domestic violence processes
during the mediation, and ensure safety before, during, and
post-mediation as well as practice your skills with comprehensive
real-play exercises.
